COMSOC 1
The course is intended for the Mine overseer, safety/loss control officer, shift boss, foreman or line manager who must implement the mine’s safety programme.
COMSOC 2
The course is intended for Safety Officers, Mine Overseer, Shift boss or Line Manager who has completed COMSOC 1, furthering knowledge of implementation of a mine safety programme.
RISK ASSESSMENT
(HIRA)
This course is aimed at supervisors & enables them to identify & assess risks the workplace & place methods of control into the situation. It will give them in confidence to deal with the requirements of the health and safety act
FULL TIME SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE
This course is aimed at all persons who have been appointed as full-time safety representatives as per the Mine Safety and Health Act, 1996.
Workplace Health and Safety Representatives
This course is designed to give the workplace safety representative an insight into his duties and responsibilities and a practical way of implementing safety in his area of responsibility.
